Importance of a good cot in patient’s recovery

For a bed bound patient, it is mandatory to change the position every two hours. This includes the side-turns for the individuals.

These assisted movements for a patient is an important requirement to reduce morbidity – preservation of skin, prevention of some kinds of pneumonia, prevention of contractures and deformity.
